The Once and Future King
Handsome, red haired Arthur Pendragon is early in his rule, but a powerful and honorable man. He had been raised in secret by his foster family, the Robbetts until he pulled the sword from the stone and his true heritage as Uther’s heir was revealed. He was raised to believe in right and wrong as knights and shining armor, not conniving courtiers and darker plots and thus Arthur is apparently unaware of the subtle way members of court plot against him to steal his power.
Guinevere Pendragon
The White Enchantress
Fair skinned with long blonde hair, Guinevere’s figure was slim and tall, her bearing graceful and proud. She is strikingly beautiful, but always a little serious and sad. She does not think life is always rosy, but she never thinks of herself as lonely either. Her eyes are dark, but always burn with a profound intelligence that makes her seem older than she is. She is determined not to look past anyone or judge them because of their appearance or place in life; this leaves her open-hearted and gives her a wisdom beyond the years of most.
Kay Robbetts
Foster Brother
Kay Robbetts, Arthur’s foster brother, was once a powerful knight. He was prone to mood swings, but dedicated to his job and Arthur before he had taken a blow to the leg and it turned gangrenous. The injury was nearly the end of him, but Arthur had saved him and nursed him back to health. Because of that injury early in Arthur’s rule, he had been forced to retire from active duty and became bitter and caustic. He now serves as Arthur’s steward in Camelot.
Evaine Redfield
Calm Influence
Lancelot’s aunt, Evaine Redfield, is a calming, motherly influence on the court. In her youth, she had been an accomplished horsewoman and often rode with Lancelot in his younger days. A calm and measured influence on the court, Evaine advises wisely and well. She has nursed Lancelot through several inappropriate romances. Being so like her late brother in temperament, it was little surprise that she had taken up painting and needlework as a hobby.
Syr Percival Warwood
Knight of Virtue
Dark haired Percival Warwood is a young, rising star and a shining paragon of virtue. He is one of the most skilled of Arthur’s knights, though he is also among the youngest. He is a capable warrior, but his strength lies in the principles of chivalry that he lives. He can be shy, introverted, and unexperienced with women due to his isolated upbringing. He can appear shy at first glance, but those who know him better understand that it’s only because he’s very quiet while listening and needs time to process what he heard. He is a staunch believer in the ideals of both Camelot and the Martine Church.
Syr Lancelot Lockland
Guinevere’s Savior
Tall, elegant, gallant. The shining knight, Lancelot Lockland, is seen as all that is right and good about Camelot. He has quickly become Arthur’s best friend and most trusted confidant aside from Guinevere and Merlyn himself. He is a man of action and can be a bit impetuous bit his skill with the sword is beyond compare. His long legs swallow up ground easily and he strides with an air of confidence that makes other men uncomfortable and women swoon.
